I find Vogue US has become too concerned with celebrity status and consumerism that it has overshadowed the true essence of a fashion magazine. Roitfeld brings to French Vogue an edge, a point of discussion and debate where opinion is welcomed and encouraged. Fashion is after all an art form - what would be the purpose of creating an artwork that was mute?
