JANUARY: THE MADONNA MONTH

I have no idea why, but for some reason this month I have been craving Madonna! I have never been that much of a fan of hers but for some reason, a 'Modonna spark' has triggered inside my wee body and I cannot get enough of this yoga obsessed manorexic 51-year-old! Especially, with all time classic 'Vogue'. I have a feeling something big is going to happen with her this month, maybe?

STYLE ICON: BANDANA TEWARI

This may not be a familiar name in the UK, but December's style icon for me is non other than Fashion Features Director; Bandana Tewari. Ever since I decided to write my final year dissertation on Vogue India I have began to learn more and more about Tewari and she has totally captivated me. Her gorgeous skin, beautiful smile and amazing sense of style has really made me want to raid her wardrobe! She is so freakin' sexy! I am totally j'adoring her right now!

With her cool writing style and vibrant clothes, she truly is the voice of modern day India and someone to look out for in the future! Bah I'm SO over Wintour!

Marcus Constable

Right, so today was my first day interning at the exclusive boutique fashion PR company DeVetta... Have to say it was totally EPIC! The people working there, the atmosphere and even the little office tucked away in trendy Shoreditch was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

DeVetta certainly knows how to pick their clients, one of which is Marcus Constable. He's sexy, rugged and manly. if you've heard of Constable you would know that his signature style is modern, sharp cuttings and architectural shapes. He was really big during the 90's, but after his last show at LFW in 2001 he kind of vanished from the scene. So now he's back and boy is he coming back with vengeance! Showing at LFW this September; His fierce dresses inspired by the Thirties are definitely going to be a major sell out, taking orders from Liberty and Koh Samui. Its a shame he doesn't do menswear but even so, I would KILL to own one of his dresses. Just to have one for the sake of having one. It's a total masterpiece.

When asked how would he best describe a Marcus Constable woman he said. "A girl with a unique, individual style who loves to dress up but who also Paradoxically dresses down. She appreciates a well-cut dress but she could easily throw one of my structured cocktail dresses with distressed old boots, a denim jacket and tousled hair."

Sound like you? Then keep a look out for Constable especially when all big publications such as Vogue & Grazia are all talking about him so he is definitely not one to be missed.

Recessionista. Fashionista.

As I pride myself on being a major recessionista, printed tees have become a hardcore necessity in my wardrobe. These are the two purchases of the day... Totaling a cool £33 I think i've done very well bagging myself the Marc Jacobs tee (left) for £23 and the Vogue tee (right) for only a TENNER!

What's so amazing is that even though the tee, designed by Vogue for 'Crisis'; A charity that helps homeless people, is meant to be released on 10.09.09 and I managed to get one today! So I have to say I am VERY chuffed.

One Word... Fierce!

As you can see I am not in a very "writing" mood today. I guess it's one of those "I don't care" moods. But here is an image from Russian Vogue- September issue; And you all thought Kate Moss lost her charm. She still is THE supermodel of our century!

Keegan Singh

This 31-year-old stylist is the man behind many of the most breathe taking shoots known to man. His seriously busy schedule is always booked by fashion bibles such as Vogue, V, Vman, Purple and even publications like The New York Times. With his big humongous quiff, his super tight skinny jeans and his seriously high man heels, he's a real charmer and I totally j'adore him!

I love what he has to say about anything to do with everything so when a interview with Keegan is published anywhere I get disgustingly excited like a heterosexual on speed (seriously!). Asked about what he thinks every man should have in his wardrobe, he said. "A white button-down shirt, and I think they should all have Trash & Vaudeville jeans. Some men's Balenciaga. East Village meets French boy, Parisians. It's really hot. That's my personal style aesthetic. If you have a rocker look, I swear girls will go for it."

He's been a real thinspiration  to me and I've followed his career from day one. His eye catching images are just outstanding with great fashion moments. This man really knows what he is doing, but its so hard to believe he never came from a fashion background. Asked about how he got into the industry he explained. "When I moved here I started working in fashion PR at KCD. I didn't even know really what a stylist did- I never went to school for fashion or anything like that. I came in clueless and just started working right away in the business- I think thats the best way to learn."

Jackets Galore!

This latest trend is hitting the runways of fashion hard. Sleeves have either been taken off completely or cut just above the elbow. I think this will be one trend which is going to be oh so hot for the summer.
