SASS & BIDE

OK! This fashion duo are totally my latest fashion fixation Right now!

Where do I even begin? I am actually feeling excitement just by looking at their website as I lay on my bed!

Whilst my internship at Devetta PR I would continuously see the duet lurking around in the offices above Devetta (home too Live Fashion) and to be honest, I didn't pay much attention to them until I came into a real encounter with Sarah-Jane Clarke (one half of Sass & Bide) ... I totally fell in love with her and now I REALLY REALLY REALLY just want to be dressed head to toe in Sass & Bide even though I know I don't have a pair of boobs and no vagina but a MANgina... But you know what? I really could not care less!... I EFFING WANT THESE T-SHIRTS!

STYLE ICON: BANDANA TEWARI

This may not be a familiar name in the UK, but December's style icon for me is non other than Fashion Features Director; Bandana Tewari. Ever since I decided to write my final year dissertation on Vogue India I have began to learn more and more about Tewari and she has totally captivated me. Her gorgeous skin, beautiful smile and amazing sense of style has really made me want to raid her wardrobe! She is so freakin' sexy! I am totally j'adoring her right now!

With her cool writing style and vibrant clothes, she truly is the voice of modern day India and someone to look out for in the future! Bah I'm SO over Wintour!

R.I.P BRITTANY MURPHY

It's finally confirmed. Hollywood has lost yet another very talented star this year and I still am in shock. Brittany Murphy was one of my fav's ever since her appearance in "Clueless" she was the one who first made me adore fashion and to know she is no longer with us is just truly bizarre.

Apparently, reports show that she was on prescribed medication and also may have had an eating disorder which Brittany always denied. But looking at the picture above I think that could have been highly possible?

Click here to watch her very last interview before she died :(

MOVE OVER GAGA?

I have to say, I am a MAJOR fan of parody's and this particular copy of Gaga's Bad Romance just literally made me... erm... "Shit my pants" with laughter! Check it out!

Totally Fierce!

VB FOR FUR

Rumours are emerging that the ever so j'adorable Victoria Beckham and BFF Marc Jacobs are teaming up to focus on fur.

Apparently she was spotted meeting the whole LVMH money making crew along with MJ in Paris. According to Elle UK, LVMH executive, Edo Jao tweeted: "Well hanging with Vic B and MJ is going really well. I think they're talking about a line in with fur. Launching pre-emptive PETA strike now."

If this is true, I am so effing excited!

NEW LOOK PRESS DAY

This post is long overdue but finally got round to doing it! Right, well... New Look!

To be fair, New Look for me has always been a hit and miss sort of brand, so when I was invited to come attend their press day I thought I would be snoopy and have a look see ... I had never really been a fan... until now! Firstly can I just say that their new offices are such a breath of fresh air! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist, it was almost like a scene out of 'The Devil Wears Prada' with tall, thin women walking around like para troopers in their shiny heels.

Then, as I went downstairs to the bottom floor I was greeted by what would seem like a girl's heaven! New Look have not only given themselves a makeover but also totally revamped their clothing style, I guess having Kimberly Walsh as the face must have made a big difference! I saw a lot of different looks from Boho Chic to Rock Chic and every Chic possible! It was all very very well done.

But my ultimate favourite item there was this super cute dress...

Oh and look girls... Do we have Balenciaga?

QASIMI

They are a name you probably may not have heard of but the new fashion kids in town are Khalid AlQasimi & Elliot Frieze and together they make up QASIMI. I have to say I was totally taken aback when I came across their SS10 collection and oh my was it a collection! I will even go on to say that I thought this show was by far the best in London for SS10... There's not much more I can say about this label as a picture speaks a 1000 words, it's a label I will definitely be following religiously and cannot wait to see what they have to offer in Feb. The structure, fabric and craftsmanship that went into each garment is truly inspiring!

All I can say is that Qasimi totally screams out luxury and luxury is what I live for.

ARE YOU A ROBOT?

I bet you love Barack Obama or maybe the Queen even? Want to own them with their faces carved out on wood? well that is exactly what 21 year old DJ/Photographer and Blogger Matthew Montack has got to offer on his new website Bon Robot. His new website is also home to other brands such as Armor, Melody Ehsani and Han Cholo.

I came across Bon Robot when I was reading a piece about it on Fashion 156, and I instantly fell in love with the necklaces! Everyone needs to check this guy out as he is going to be one of the hottest new jewellery designers out there in 2010 me thinks! Also, not only stocking his own stuff Bon Robot Armor which I was very pleased about! I own a body chain by Armor and I must admit, its the best style statement I have ever invested in. Made specifically for the shape of the body, it looks very luxurious and always remains a mystery except for yourself which I quite like.

HOT NEW DESIGNER ALERT!

Christopher Seal, an LCF menswear student is set to take the London fashion scene by storm. His breath taking garments are exactly what every man needs his wardrobe. When I first saw this shirt I was quite taken aback. I just instantly screamed I FUCKING WANT THIS!!! (So I hope I actually DO get one) I love the detailing on this piece, it reminds me of something between Vivienne Westwood & Alexander McQueen.

Speaking to Seal, he told me. "The inspiration for the shirt came initially from a picture by H.R. Giger and my love for Space which them led me to the idea of 'Connections' and the reality of connecting to other worlds. My aim was to create a shirt that at the time retained formal and traditional elements."

I love the architectural aspect of the shirt and its a piece that I see will definitely be gracing the catwalks very soon!

MULBERRY BAGS FOR APPLE PRODUCTS

When Mulberry unveiled a collection of accessories designed for Apple products I must admit, I nearly wet myself with excitement. Being an Apple user myself, I do not want a Mulberry sleeve for my precious Mac, I NEED a Mulberry sleeve! Every time I look at the gorgeous exterior of the beautifully made case I don't know what happens. I can just smell the leather just by looking at pictures of it and only dream of owning one. But I know for a fact come Xmas my dream will be a reality!

Like many of us, Im sure everyone out there dreams of owning a Mulberry bag. I don't mind spending money on a quality product that I know such time and care has gone into making the product, its an accessory that you could even pass on to your grandchildren! Even my own mother still has her Mulberry bag beautifully intact after 18 years!

Mulberry made the bags to fit Apple products and oh my do they fit well! I can find no fault whatsoever in them. I've shopped around and found a Marc Jacobs laptop sleeve but that has nothing on the Mulberry one. So one thing is for sure my laptop will no longer be a naked one, its going to travel in style just like I do!

You can buy you're Mulberry Macbook sleeve from either Mulberry.com or www.store.apple.com/uk

Totally J'adorable!

WILDFOX IS ON WILDFIRE!

This LA based fashion brand- Wildfox is what what every young rock chic would ever need in her wardrobe. If you're like me and don't give a flying f*ck about anyone, then I guess this a brand just for you!

I went to their press day at Eskimo PR's offices and I have to say I fell in love with every piece I saw. The new 'Young Guns' collection was inspired by all-things 80's- ranging from heavy rock bands and Madonna to movies like Thelma & Louise and Pretty in Pink. My favourite piece would have to be this simple yet cool 'Love Potion No 9' t-shirt. It reminds me a lot like Chanel gone wild for some reason?

Their Spring 2010 collection features some cool new fabrics including cotton/polyester stripe fabric for cutoff tanks, tees and the grunge tee, a spandex used for leggings, bike shorts and so on. They have really gone all out to achieve they bad girl image and I really applaude that and the best thing about it, its not even that expensive! Their main stockists are ASOS but you can also find them at Harvey Nichols & Selfridges.

KOOKAI: PRESS DAY

So Kookai have opened their new store in cute little Marylebone Village. Situated just off busy Oxford Street in St. Christophers Place I went along to their press day which was actually loads of fun!

Kookai have moved away from their tiresome old image after appointing luxury boutique PR firm DeVetta PR. Kookai's client base is very easy to tell by their collection, they are trying to reach out to a strong, independent, free-thinking woman by attracting her with strong fabrics, fine detailing and their "industrial chic" style boutiques. Kookai have gone very Parisian chic with their new collection which I found quite classy but fun at the same time. Firstly, we saw a lot of golden embellishments...

Boyfriend blazers with smart shorts...

Tribal inspired jewellery...
And what a surprise... The English Trench!

I DRAW, YOU DRAW, WE DRAW

Disneyrollergirl featured the Oasis preview on her blog which instantly caught my eye. The blogosphere has gone crazy over these new pieces designed by recent graduate Rosalind Keep. The price point is around £35-£40 which is a real high street bargain and I have to say this white tee below is totally going to be snapped up by me when it's released! The release date is said to be in December, so what a perfect xmas present...
