WHEN ANNA TALKS, YOU LISTEN!

Anna Wintour's recent trip to France for the couture shows wasn't only to sit back and watch some shows but she had something else in mind too.

Only naturally- a special request was sent out - Wintour held a meeting with French government officials to discuss the issue of the governments lack of support to new and emerging talent.

According to Vogue UK, Christian Estrosi, French industry minister, agreed. "She's right". He said in a press conference later, "Everyone knows the role Anna plays in making New York a great fashion capital. My objective was to benefit from her experience."

Anna Wintour I salute you

THE ULTIMATE POWER; DAVID & VICTORIA BECKHAM

They are the untouchables. Love 'em or hate 'em, you just know these two are not going away anytime soon. 10 Magazine celebrated their 10th-anniversary in true style by creating 2 of the most cleverly well executed front covers I have seen in a long time.

I totally j'adore VB stalk her every move, it's not my fault it's my gay instinct! In the issue VB spoke about her passion to expand on the the label and turn it into a full on fashion house! "I still have plans to be doing this in 10, 15, 20 years time, so it's got to be done right!" Now that would be sexual.

LABB MAGAZINE

If Vogue is your bible then LABB Magazine is going to be your Qur'an, Torah & Bible all in one!

It is a fashionista's dream put together all in one and oh my... Its definitely a rollercoaster to go through! I was asked to join the fashion team for LABB Magazine which I proudly accepted, you may not have heard of it and of course you haven't yet because it will be launching this February during London Fashion Week.

LABB is a quarterly 'coffee table' glossy which will be aimed at designers, photographers and artists from all different backgrounds. It's very easy to read as the written features will be minimal and main focus will be on the editorial spreads. How can I describe this? It's loud, vibrant and totally j'adorable! It takes High Fashion to another league! Both men and women a like will be rushing to their shops to grab a copy, I can assure you.

When I met the LABB team, I was nervous, yet excited! It's a project I can't wait to get my teeth into and getting to know all of them was amazing! Now I can actually introduce to you the LABB team and I asked them all what LABB meant to them.

Editor in Cheif
George Eko
"LABB is about diversification, integration and the ability to just making it work!

Creative Director
OscarAlexander Lunberg
"Bringing Fashion and its weird-ness together with life and its journeys is the goal!"

Art Director
Dave Piper
"Being able to sit at my desk, actually creating a platform for new people is quite a nice feeling. I just wish George had created it for me all those years ago!"

My role within the magazine will be the new Fashion Features Editor. So what do I think LABB is all about? Well, "pushing boundaries within High Fashion and giving new talent a voice within the industry!"

... God, I feel like a girl giggling in class when I'm typing this! I still cannot believe the passion that is going into this magazine, It's definitely one to watch out for.

Check out the LABB website here or if you would like more info about LABB just email info@labbmagazine.com. Also, below are some screen shots of some of the visual spreads.

IT'S ALL ABOUT BANDAGE

Keep 7th February free girls because Topshop's Edit pop-up boutique returns! The Boutique will bring together a collective mix of cool young designers... One of which is EG.

I'd never heard from them until I was sent an email about them. After doing a bit of research, I found out it's a brand made in England and a label that is aimed at the "metro-sexual woman". Can a women be metero-sexual? Well I guess that's what EG have invented! If you're strong, confident and unafraid to embrace your masculine side then you NEED some EG in your life.

Im absolutely j'adoring these bandage pieces by EG which you will be able to find in Topshop's pop-up boutique, they look extremely sexual.

EG CON DRESS £220

EG BOW MESH BODY £70

EG CREAM & BLACK JACKET £190

EG ELASTIC BANDAGE LEGGINGS £280

PRADA A/W10 MENSWEAR SHOW

Words cannot describe the Prada AW10 collection. It's a show that was much anticipated and it definitely did not fail to deliver. The collection was very fresh, masculine and chic... Wouldn't we all just want a Prada boy. J'adorable!

EUROPEAN FASHION STUDIO

There's always a hidden gem in London and I feel this could may well be one to watch for. Tucked away in trendy Covent Garden- I first thought it was some sort of makeover studio joint only to realise it was an actual boutique. They only stock two designers, Sarah Pacini and A.R.T.

Sarah Pacini

Sarah Pacini is a designer from Belgium who has established her name for effortless elegance and a collection designed to be timeless and ageless. Also, you have A.R.T. which is a Dutch brand full of artistic colour but personally speaking A.R.T.'s collection was something my 55-year-old and single art teacher from school would wear!

There were some pieces which I saw and thought "Ouch my eyes are hurting" but then there were some pieces that really took me aback! Nevertheless, I think everyone should check this store out... Especially because EVERYTHING is 50% off right now! Amazing for a total recessionista!

PING PONG REDEEMS ITSELF

You may have read the previous post about my extremely hetro experience at Ping Pong on Monday. So when I had woken up this morning, I was very surprised to have received an email from Ping Pong's PR. I was told that my complaint about my bad experience had been taken seriously and was being dealt with immediately. Commercial Director for Ping Pong, Tina English, issued a statement on my blog comments about the incident:

"Hi Ozzy,

I am just writing to offer our sincerest apologies to you and your friends following your recent visit to Ping Pong. On behalf of everyone at Ping Pong we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations, particularly as this was a birthday celebration. At Ping Pong we want to make sure that every customer has an outstanding experience each and every time they visit one of our restaurants and this should translate to amazing food and drink as well as outstanding service.

The level of service which you experienced is unacceptable. We have discussed this incident with the restaurant manager to ensure that this type of incident will not happen again.

Again, please accept our sincerest apologies.

Tina English,

Commercial Director, Ping Pong"

Now, that was very sweet of Tina to do. But to top it all off she called me personally later today and wanted to apologise to me over the phone. I was told that the complaint had even been discussed in the board of directors meeting! Talking to Tina was like talking to someone you just really want to go have cocktails with, go shopping and chat about boys! Ha. She was actually F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. Tina was extremely friendly and made me feel assured, confident and relaxed. She handled the situation very professionally and I was quite impressed with how quickly Ping Pong dealt with the situation.

The outcome was VERY positive and still very thankful to Tina & Ping Pong for apologising... This has definitely restored my faith in Ping Pong, but have to say the down side to all this is that London Fashion Week is almost a month away and all that dimsum is really not going to help my waist for the shows and parties!

But then again, I don't care! If I was given excellent customer service then you could sell me a bloody brick! I'd probably eat so much food at a restaurant that it would actually be a crime against fashion!

TONY BLAIR FOR LOUIS VUITTON?

Ok, this is a bit strange. Tony Blair maybe taking up an advisery role at LVHM to attract more clients. Shouldn't Mr. Blair be focusing on his role as the Middle East diplomat? Maybe he will be diplomatic and make the Arabs calm down by offering them LV bags?

Blair is expected to start later this year!

KARL LAGERFELD'S PLUS SIZE SHOOT

So I guess the highly publicised letter written by British Vogue's editor Alexandra Shulman, about her concern for skinny models MAY have made an impact on some designers? Well Karl Lagerfeld is certainly trying to break boundaries now.

I find this shoot quite amusing, it's not sexy at all. Just amusing. But I am a bit confused though, wasn't it only a few months ago that my beloved Karl was quoted to have said. "no one wants to see round women." Well this big, blonde bombshell is certainly making Lagerfeld eat every last peace of his humble-pie!

Check out the full shoot in V magazine out 14th January.

ASH FOOTWEAR

ASH "Virgin" High Tops, £125

I just bought these absolutely j'adorable pair of ASH high tops and just had to post something about them!

I had my eye on them for a while now so I thought I would pay a visit to their flagship store in Marylebone High Street and try them on. As soon as I slipped them on I felt like I was floating in air. Sliding my foot inside a pair of these babies was just such an incredible and intense feeling I can't describe. You only have to try them to realise what I am talking about.

The outside of the shoe is very similar to All Star's but the ASH version is so much cooler! I mean, to start with, the leather just feels like butter melting into your hands, and the inside is all padded so you literally feel like you're on a 24hr suspension. They are brilliant! And look great with anything in your wardrobe guys.

This Italian brand really knows how to make good shoes, check out their website here.

TELFAR, UNDERGROUND MENSWEAR

Telfar has been dressing the underground kids of New York for some time, and now he hopes to be going mainstream. His clothes are, in a sense, unique. You maybe thinking they don't look like something that you would want to wear, and I do too... But never say never. I find his clothes bizarre but quite interesting. It's like car crash fashion, I don't want to look but I can't help it!

BOYCOTT PING PONG

I am so angry, so disturbed and so disappointed that I can actually feel my piss boiling and venom about to spit out!

Tonight I went to my friend Reena's birthday dinner and as Ping Pong is usually our favourite hang out spot, Reena only naturally chose that place to have her little get together. We had loads of fun and laughter until we were served by the ever so horrendous, pale and rather unfortunate looking manager of their Eastcastle Street restaurant.

As it is a Sunday, Ping Pong have a special offer called 'Lazy Sumdays' which basically means all you can eat for £18. Quite a deal right? So, we ordered lots of food as we were extremely hungry and the manager who took down our order first says to me "WHY ARE YOU ORDERING SO MUCH? I DON'T LIKE WASTING FOOD... CHILDREN ARE DYING IN AFRICA BECAUSE OF STARVATION" I mean wtf??? We are paying the bill! We are paying for what we are ordering! What the fuck has it got to do with you, you bloody donut!?!?!?

So, I let that one slide even though I was in disbelief? We managed to eat the majority of the food thanks to one of Reena's friends Naz. Later on, our good friend Fiona came along with one of her friend, Grace, to say happy birthday to Reena. Fiona and her Grace didn't want to order the 'Lazy Sumday' so they were made to sit "separately" from the group which was absolutely ridiculous! Then Fiona and her Grace just tried a tiny big of our food, like I mean TINY bit of food just to taste and the stupid manager charged them both for the buffet! I mean what sort of policy is that??? If the food is being paid for, who cares who's mouth it goes in to? We then spoke to the manager who was absolutely rude to us about the whole situation, I have never been spoken to like that in my life, her attitude stank like she has never washed in her life! Finally, she agreed to void the bits that they hardly ate... Still with her stinking attitude

THEN, when we all paid, Fiona and Grace needed a £1 change back (that place did NOT deserve any kind of tip) ... THE MANAGER GAVE THE £1 CHANGE BACK IN COPPERS! How bloody rude? Not 2 50p's or 5 20p's but COPPERS!!! I have never seen such disgusting behavior, I really hope Ping Pong get to read this post and do something about it.

It has really put me off Ping Pong and totally destroyed the experience of enjoying the food!

TATTOO 'IT'

We've all heard of the new 'IT' bag, 'IT' dog and 'IT' mobile phone, but this is the coolest accessory to ever hit our stores; The Chanel tattoo!

Don't freak out, if tattoos aren't you're thing then don't worry because they ARE temporary and you can scrub it off whenever you want! Several of the models during the Spring 2010 show donned temporary tattoos. Now Chanel is coming out with their own range of j'adorable temp tats! I know for a fact this will be something that we shall be seeing a lot more of.

I mean, have you ever thought about getting a tattoo at least once in you're lives and never really got down to it because you're too scared? Well this is your answer! For a pack of 55 different sexy tattoos for £49 isn't that bad really is it? That means you will have a different tattoo for a different look for every week of the year! It's so chic.

The range, called 'L'ceil de Chanel' is set to hit Chanel stores in March!

MATTHEW WILLIAMSON FOR MEN

Matthew Williamson has announced he will be unveiling his own menswear SS10 line, with the hope to expand further.

It wasn't long ago that Victoria Beckham announced her vision for men and having David head the collection which is rather exciting. It could go horribly wrong OR we could soon be having men with golden balls walking around London?

Anyways, according to VOGUE the MW menswear line will be available from February 2010 and stocked in Harrods and, of course, MW Mayfair store and online. But girls don't fret- I am sure you can borrow some of the pieces, after all,we all love to wear our boyfriends clothes, don't we?

LOUISE GOLDIN LAUNCHES HER FOOTWEAR FOR TOPSHOP

If you remember back in November's post about Louise Goldin launching her footwear collection at Topshop, well the time has finally come. This February the hotly anticipated collection who's inspiration is taken from Baroque opulence and high-glamour, these babies will do any girl justice!

First seen on the catwalk of Louise's SS10 collection, the fusion between studded fierce attitude and diamante sparkling glamour is just so sexy and are available in Topshop stores as of 5th February in black and rose, cream from beginning of March 2010. Retailing at £150 they would look great with a cute little evening dress. I think you really need to make these shoes the focus of your outfit so you could team it up with this one shoulder dress by Rare, available at Topshop from £49! Along with this fierce Alexander McQueen clutch. Make any "cute" outfit look edgy.

JANUARY: THE MADONNA MONTH

I have no idea why, but for some reason this month I have been craving Madonna! I have never been that much of a fan of hers but for some reason, a 'Modonna spark' has triggered inside my wee body and I cannot get enough of this yoga obsessed manorexic 51-year-old! Especially, with all time classic 'Vogue'. I have a feeling something big is going to happen with her this month, maybe?

Lets Vogue!

DOLE & GABBANA SS10 CAMPAIGN PREVIEW

If you look back at my previous post here you would have known about this coming... The new face for SS10 Dolce & Gabbana could only ever be the 'Queen of Pop' Madonna.

Now that the pictures have finally been released, what does everybody think? Compared to her LV campaign, I quite like her in this campaign. She looks a little less errr, dare I say, airbrushed and actually more like a proper woman with big boobs!

LADY GAGA FOR BARBIE

First it was Louboutin for Barbie now we have another fashion epidemic sweeping the stores, Lady Gaga Barbie dolls.

Created by, 29 year-old, "Doll Player" Veik, his passion for dolls started 10 years ago. It's quite scary how strickingly similar they are to the actual Gaga, I don't even think Madame Tussuad could make a better one! But you never know? Only time will tell...

VANITY FAIR LATEST COVER MODEL... TIGER WOODS?

Did VF really have to put him on the latest issue? Even worse, topless? Is that the only way he can make his money now, by taking his clothes off? Argh.
