GRAZIA HIT T5

Grazia are always pushing the boundaries when it comes to creating a look. This time they wanted to push it out all they way to Heathrow's Terminal 5!

The first magazine to have ever shot a spread in T5 with designers such as Calvin Klein, Jill Sander and Donna Karen. Whilst watching the video, above, it has really inspired me. As many of you will know I am filming a menswear fashion film for my final project at uni, and this is the sort of thing I am exactly looking for! The art direction, lighting and styling just looks superb. I didn't realise how amazing T5 actually is, architecture wise. What a great location for a great shoot!

Does this mean Heathrow can now be called "the most fashionable airport in the world"? What do you think?

MULBERRY AW10/11 PRESS DAY

London Fashion Week is over, so, now is the time for press days. The press day invites kicked off firstly with Mulberry, if you read my blog regularly you'll know how much I j'adore Mulberry. Getting to see the clothes up front was amazing and I have to say, I spotted a few goodies I know I will want once they are out.

Mulberry's colour pallet for this season was quite prominant and something that I truly loved; The three main colour trends were nude, black and purple. I'm very pleased to see how Emma Hill has raised the game with the ready-to-wear for Mulberry and I think it's time Mulberry has kind of stepped away from its 'just accessories' image. The ready-to-wear collection is very feminine with its tailoring. I saw a lot of frills, gems and fur this season, and I can't really complain! Mulberry totally has it in the bag.

I spotted two things which really stood out for me. The nude hooded coat, and also, the mens canvas backpack with leather trims. It was totally j'adorable and now I am almost lusting over the Mulberry backpack more than the Alexa, dare I say! It's gorgeous. Backpacks have become increasingly fashionable lately, Both Givenchy and Alexander Wang have also started to follow the fash pack with the backpack trend!

Mulberry gone vintage? J'adore!

My new love! The Mulberry backpack!

This is really cute, the heart on the sweater is actually a pocket!

Loving a bit of Rabbit fur

This piece is clever. The brooch on the top is actually knotted so you can wear it as a bracelet or necklace if you want!

CATHERINE BABA, J'ADORE DARLING!

Catherine Baba has been called "the most fashionable woman in Paris" many times and rightly so. This Australian born art deco fashion stylist, or "stileest" how she likes to be called is probably the most thought provoking and glamorous stylists out there in this century.

There is not much information on Catherine Baba, but she has styled publications such as Vanity Fair, Dazed & Confused and Vogue; As well as fashion house Chanel to name a few. She smokes Yves Saint Laurent cigarettes and is probably the only woman who rides a bicycle around Paris in killer heels.

Her electric style is most eye catching, inspired by 1920/30s glamour. When she walks into a room, heads turn. When she speaks, people listen. This person right in front you is probably the most influential stylists of our time.

J'adore Darling!

TRAIN WRECK MUCH?

It's her party, and she can wear what she wants to. But is it just me who thinks this dress is an absolute disaster?

The Saturdays singer, Rochelle Wiseman, celebrated her 21st birthday in the swanky May Fair hotel yesterday, but her choice of dress caused a bit of an outcry. A silver gem-studded dress with a long train kinda sounds appealing. However, this dress just turned out to be something Katie Price would wear to a funeral!

Rochelle, I love you, but this dress needs to go into the the back of your cupboard alongside your mothers wedding dress love.

SPORTY & POSH

Melanie C was spotted working Vicky Becks AW09 dress, and well, all I can say is this girl is actually working it! There's nothing better than having your own BFF doing a bit of publicity for you is there?

Doesn't she look a bit like Victoria Beckham herself? Maybe VB is doing the whole Rachel Zoe and making everyone look like her! I'm not complaining though, I want to look like VB too!

DRESS ME LIKE A FASHION TART, BRIX SMITH-START

She is the hottest thing to have ever come out of America. She is a full blooded victim to fashion. She is as crazy as Anna Wintours knickers (not that I know what they look like but we can all imagine they would be impeccable!). She is FASHION.

Brix Smith-Start co-owns Start boutique alongside her oh so sexy husband Philip Start. Together the powerful couple have tailored what looks like an amazing fashion strategy to dress London's finest fashion kidz. The Start duo will definitely go down in the fashion history books as the Branjelina of fashion.

Upon entering Start Boutique which is based in the East End's trendy Shoreditch, you are immersed with a lifetime of j'adorable designers, from Acne to Wang, right through to Erdem and Nicholas Kirkwood. I will never forget the first time I actually stepped foot in Start boutique, it is very conveniently placed next door to Devetta PR, the fashion PR company I interned with during SS10. The minute I went inside and was welcomed with rails of gorgeous clothing I almost orgasmed like Jenna Jamison on coke.

What I love about the boutique is that it really does offer a very unique shopping experience. Everything is laid out very accessibly so you don't have to feel like your rummaging through a pile of East End nonsense. The staff are amazing and you always feel welcomed when you're there. They seem to have an amazing wealth of knowledge about fashion, I mean come on, if you are working for the wildest fashion sexual healer then you really need to look the part. It's like a walking catwalk!

It's a place that seems like an honour for me to work. I wonder how you would get a job there? Being a PR bitch for Start would be like being a PR bitch for Matches and Browns put together! Oh and by the way, follow Brix on Twitter! I swear you will be pissing your pants on the bus with her disgustingly fashionable yet hilarious tweets! Twitter.com/Brixsmithstart.

SOCIAL SUICIDE; SAY NO TO CHEAP UGGS

Uggs are ugly. FACT. Uggs are for a social suicide. FACT. Uggs will make you deformed. FACT.

Yes that is right boys & girls, wearing Uggs can lead you to a lifetime of foot deformities! And to be honest THANK FUCKING GOD! If you don't believe me, you can hear it from the expert himself...

"Because these boots are warm and soft, young girls think they are giving their feet a break. In fact, they are literally breaking their feet... With just six months of wear women could saddle themselves with a lifetime of foot deformitie." Dr. Ian Drysdale, the head of British College of Osteopathic Medicine.

It's a vile mostrosity to ever hit footwear and we need to get rid of them all! Click here for the full article in the Daily Mail.

IT'S A BRAND BANG

I have to admit something, I find guns quite cool. I guess it stems from the fact that my late father and uncles were all keen hunters. Imagine going hunting with these babies! Ha.

MULBERRY GOES TO ASIA

The ultimate British brand, Mulberry, took over Hong Kong this month with their spectacular event which lured in Hong Kong's biggest celebrities, socialites and magazines. I feel Mulberry doesn't get much credit internationally than it should do. Its quirky, girly yet feminine designs totally overshadow the likes of fellow British brands such as Burberry or Anya Hindmarch.

I'm so happy for the fact that Mulberry has achieved so much in such a small space of time and it's probably the fastest growing fashion house within the UK, if not Europe. Every time I think of not only Mulberry bags but their belts, wallets and even clothes it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling down my spine. The quality of the leather, stitching and even customer service Mulberry provide is totally orgasmic! Not to forget their PR team, it's probably one of the best PR teams I have ever had to deal with. Vanessa Lunt, Communications Director, at Mulberry has brought the company from looking like a dead and old British countryside brand to a brand that is far too hot to touch!

IT'S KIGU TIME!

This is probably the most coolest street wear/pyjamas to have hit the London fashion scene in ages. Meet 'Kigu' which is short for 'Kigurumi', it literally translates as 'costumed animal character' in Japanese.

I first came across it through my friend Bonita, pictured below, who had put up a link of the quirky garment on her Facebook. Have to say, when I first saw it I instantly fell in love with it, so I started delving deep into the brand itself and found they had many other cool designs. Kigu is the only place outside of Asia that stocked these insane costumes and now Asos.com have jumped onto the band wagon.

Bonita looking rather awesome in her Kugi Care Bear outfit.

Kigus are totally unique and you're probably not going to see many people wearing them down the street, but hey this is London. Kigus all come in one size so no matter how tall, short, slim or curvy you are, you're bound to fit into them! You can either wear them out and about or just lounge around at home with them, it's entirely up to you. The second I get paid I will be ordering my j'adorable cow costume! Click here to check out the Kigu website for more unique costumes.

GAGA'S BOYS

Viktor & Rolf have followed in the footsteps of Georgio Armani and Alexander McQueen to clothe Lady Gaga in her latest music video. The electrifying singer wears a dark grey leopard jumpsuit layered with metal chains, which the designers custom made for her, in the latest video for her single Telephone.

"Lady Gaga asked us to design a prisoner's outfit ," Victor & Rolf explained. Both Lady Gaga and Beyonce wear outfits by Jean Charles de Castelbajac- In the video, we can see Beyonce opting for a blue jacket from his SS10 and Gaga supporting a bespoke dress!

Even though the video is 10 minutes long, the captivating outfits are yet another reason why Gaga proves to be one of the most fashionable recording artist's to have existed in the last decade. Her OTT hats created by renowned hat designer, Philip Tracey, have also been a talked about feature about her- Recently wearing a Telephone during BBC One's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. "I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I would never give up my wigs and hats for anything".

J'adorable!

AW10 ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

It was probably the smallest show in Alexander McQueens history and probably not one that he has originally planned. But set in an 18th-centuary mansion owned by the Gucci Group, it was still as breath taking as how he had imagined it to be.

Instead of the many thousands fighting over a seat during his spectacular shows, this one was very different in many ways. A small group of people including journalists and the owner of PPR who was also McQueens boss were only present at the salon style presentation.

McQueen once said that his shows overpowered the clothes, but not in this instance. High-necked, closely fitted to the body with beautiful embroidery which took you back to the French Renaissance period. Satin, silk and curvy shoulders gave his garments a truly elegant touch with the McQueen legacy clearing coming to life before our eyes.

It was a bit strange flicking through the images of the show and it was a haunting experience. I am sure everyone who attended the show felt McQueen's presence just as much as I did just by going through the images of his last and final collection.

TOTALLY CHUNG OVER OVERSIZED ALEXA

I want it, I need it, I just have to have it.

That is what I have been telling myself every day, every hour and every second that I just NEED the oversized Alexa bag. It's like a drug I need to inject myself with. Words cannot describe the pain that goes through me every time I visit a Mulberry store to touch this bag and having to put it back on display.

Earlier today I was discussing with my friend Joey how much I really really REALLY need this bag in my life and all he could answer back was "it's just a bag". Yes it is a bag, but it is not ONLY a bag... it is a necessity, a lifestyle and a product that would be just as precious to me as the bible would be to the pope! I don't care what colour, print or leather I get the Alexa in, I just need to have it.

Just as we thought the 'it' bag phenomenon had died, Mulberry's Creative Director Emma Hill executed the Alexa. It has got to a point in my life where I have actually put a picture of the bag on my wall so I can look at it every day and dream that one day I will own this bag. Why do I have to be a student? Why can't I just own a share in Mulberry? Why can't I have a rich partner? Or even better, why can't someone just buy me one or let me borrow one for a day?

Alexa, there will come a time in my life when I will be able to own you! I don't know when, I don't know how, but there will come a time that you will be on my arm at some point in my life, I promise.
